The Forest of Fireflies
On the edge of a quiet village stood a mysterious forest that came alive every summer night. Children whispered tales about the glowing fireflies that painted the trees with golden light, but few dared to enter.
One curious boy named Arjun decided to explore the forest. Guided only by the soft glow of the moon, he tiptoed into the woods. Suddenly, thousands of fireflies rose around him like living lanterns. Their light shimmered across the leaves, turning the forest into a sparkling wonderland.
To Arjun’s surprise, the fireflies began to form shapes—stars, flowers, and even smiling faces. It felt as if the forest was alive, sharing its secrets with him. He laughed and clapped, and the fireflies danced even brighter.
That night, Arjun discovered that the forest was not a place to fear, but a place of magic. When he returned home, he told the other children, “The fireflies are friends. If you listen carefully, they’ll tell you stories with their light.”
From then on, the children visited the forest together, filling it with laughter and joy, while the fireflies lit their way like tiny guiding stars.
Moral of the story: Curiosity and courage can lead to magical discoveries.
